Frequently Asked Questions

On August 15, 2023, nationals of Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the UK, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Belarus will be granted visa-free entry to Vietnam for a maximum stay of 45 days, regardless of their visa type or purpose of entry, as long as they comply with Vietnamese laws.

In addition, visa exemption is available to those who qualify under certain international agreements, hold permanent/temporary residence cards, enter coastal economic zones, and certain Vietnamese people residing overseas and their families.
