The Vietnam Immigration Department has officially announced a change in the Vietnam Visa Approval Letter format starting from September 16, 2025. This update is designed to make applicant information more transparent, easy to check, and aligned with international documentation standards.
What Has Changed?

Applicant details (full name, date of birth, nationality, passport number, validity period, etc.) were displayed in plain text.

While valid, the layout was sometimes less convenient for travelers and immigration officers to quickly locate or verify details.

Applicant information is now displayed in a clear, structured table format.

Each detail such as Full Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Nationality, Passport Number, and Entry Airport is neatly organized in columns.

This format makes the approval letter easier to read, more visible, and faster to check at the airport.
